HELLLLOOOO FALL!!!

The holidays are FAST approaching! I can't believe it's almost OCTOBER! I am so excited for FALL the be here! Except its still HOT here in sunny Wilmington, North Carolina!!! I love seeing the leaves beginning to fall off the trees, and being able to purchase pumpkin muffins, cookies and even donuts!!! And lighting spice scented candles and the fireplace! Oh I can't wait! Anyways, enough about me.... How about some Carolina Cottages UPDATES!!!

I apologize for not updating you guys more often! I got "spoken to" about the updates for the blog- Mary wants to see some updates!! :o) (Until January rolls around or this baby boy decides to make his entrance into the world, I will continue to blame it on "pregnancy brain"!!!)

We have some exciting things going on in the store right now! We just received some new pieces of furniture, hand made by a local craftsman! We love to support the local artists and craftsmen in the area and we are super excited about these pieces! He even customized some of them for us!

We also received some super cute wine glasses last week that will be great for those upcoming holiday parties! Not only will they be great for entertaining, but they make great hostess gifts for all the parties you ladies will be attending in the coming months!! We are also working to update our website- possibly looking to make some cosmetic changes in the near future- and would LOVE your feedback! After all- our customers are what keep us going! Brandy & Tamara will also be giving a short seminar on what to look for when choosing fabrics for any space, and how fabrics relate to each other in a room! Ladies Night Out 11.12.09

WOW!!!! What an amazing evening we had!!! Thank you so much to all the ladies who made it out November 12th to our Ladies Night Out event! We discussed some great ideas for setting up your dining tables for the holidays, while enjoying wine and hors d'ouevres. We saw a lot of familiar faces and met lots of new ones!!! We appricate you ladies spreading the word about our store and shopping at locally owned companies! We look forward to seeing you at our next event- Our Holiday Open House on November 21st from 11-3! We will be collecting clothing, cell phones, and household items to benefit the Domestic Violence Shelter! We appriciate the support and helping us give back to OUR COMMUNITY!!! See you there!!!
